The Department of Health, Disability and Ageing (DHDA), Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) and Australian Institute of Health and Welfare (AIHW) are supporting disability research projects through existing assets:
- Person Level Integrated Data Asset (PLIDA)
- National Health Data Hub (NHDH).
Who can apply?
For disability research projects, researchers are generally required to:
- agree to follow the principles and rules in the Charter
- agree to publish some of their findings in accessible formats
- meet other researcher and project requirements, like using data in an ethical way.

What data is available?
Data is available in PLIDA and NHDH now that can be requested for disability research projects.
